Apple Training Support recognizes that not all recipients of this CD-ROM have direct access to a CD-ROM drive. So, each of the stacks contained within this folder is designed to be transferred from this CD-ROM onto floppy diskettes. These stacks have all of the text and line art information contained within the other stacks on this disc, but most of the sounds and all of the animations have been removed so that each stack will fit onto a single floppy diskette.
They are also sized to fit within the screen of any Macintosh Plus, SE or SE/30.
Although each stack will boot up from individual floppy disks, many of the linked words and phrases contained in these stacks rely on other files, particularly the ATS GLOSSARY and ATS HELP files, which must be present in order for these stacks to operate.
For this reason as well as others, it is highly recommended that each of the MINIMUM stacks be copied onto floppy disks only for transport purposes. These files should be then copied onto the hard disk drive of an individual Macintosh system.
You must also copy the files located in the COPY ME folder on this disc and place them on the receiving system. All of these files may be placed within a folder on the receiving system's hard disk drive, but the user must remember where these files are located; he or she will be asked for the location of the ATS FREFS 10.90, the ATS GLOSSARY and the ATS HELP stacks when they attempt to access them.
In total, 7 diskettes are required to transport these stacks.
